From combat to coral, Force Blue is providing buoyancy to veterans around the world. Steve “Gonzo” Gonzalez is a former Navy SEAL who is now the Special Projects and Events Director for Force Blue, a nonprofit organization that trains and deploys special operations veterans for marine conservation projects.
Force Blue's mission to utilize the skills of special ops veterans to help scientists with initiatives like coral reef restoration, invasive species removal, and marine debris cleanups. JT and Gonzo discuss how his military background led him to Force Blue and shares stories of the personal rewards he sees in giving veterans a new mission.
